2015 SMN Sports Scholarship Reunion Weekend

September 25 and 26, 2015

“A Foundation for Success”

Dear SM North Alumnus,

We would like to invite you to attend a special reunion weekend with alumni from the past 60 years. The purpose for the reunion is to come together and renew friendships and to support SMN Sports Scholarship Foundation Endowment program. As of May 2015 the Foundation has provided $24,000 to SMN student athletes since 2009. Our Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The reunion weekend programs will kick off with a pre-game social gathering on Friday September 25 at 5:30pm east of the swimming pool complex. The Indian’s varsity football game starts at 7pm and we will have reserved seating. Following the varsity football game a post-game party has been planned at the Lucky Brewgrille at 5401 Johnson Drive. The post-game party will start approximately at 9pm.

Saturday’s activities begin with an 18 hole tournament and benefit at Prairie Highlands Golf Course in Olathe, KS.

A banquet will be held on Saturday evening at SMN High School beginning with a registration at 6pm. During the registration hour a silent auction will be featured with several very nice collectables. Proceeds above the minimum bids will benefit the Foundation’s endowment fund. The banquet dinner will be serviced by Brancato’s Catering. The buffet style dinner will start at approximately 7pm. A local celebrity and SMN alumni will emcee the banquet. We are making plans to have a special guest speaker to make this an entertaining evening.

A website has been created to provide information about our programs and future events. www.smnsportsscholarship.org. A complete listing for each of the legacy scholarships is listed on the website. A Facebook webpage has been provided for you to connect with classmates.

The SMN Sports Scholarship Foundation has been blessed with the support from our generous alumni base. We thank you for your support and trust. The foundation is managed by six board members.

We hope that you will make plans to attend the activities on September 25 and 26.

Best regards,

Cindy Howard Collins, Jim Gillespie, Kevin Kietzman, Jon Pittenger, George Sallas and Jim Ballou
